Weather Conditions

Do not apply to exterior surfaces if rain is imminent, during high winds or freezing temperatures.
Surface Preparation

• Tile surfaces and spaces between tiles should be clean and free of any foreign matter.
• Tile adhesive should be completely dry before grouting.
• Protect tiles against staining.

Mixing

Sprinkle 5 kg* Coprox Waterproof Tile Grout slowly into 2 litres of clean water stirring constantly until a smooth paste like consistency is achieved.  Use within 30 minutes.  To prevent settling, stir frequently throughout the application.

Grouting

1. Apply grout using a rubber squeegee.
2. Clean grout off the tile surfaces to avoid staining.
3. Once the grout has dried sufficiently, smooth the grout using a damp sponge.
4. Clean off any excess grout with a wet cloth.
5. Allow the grout to dry for at least 24 hours before use.

Coverage

150 mm x 150 mm x 5 mm tile with 3 mm grout - 3 m2 per kg (approx.)

Cleaning Tools & Equipment

Use clean water.  Product and waste water containing product should not be discharged directly into drains and waterways.

Storage & Shelf Life

12 months when stored sealed in a dry place.

Identification & Composition

A non-flammable cement based powder (in various colours) containing Portland cement, calcium chloride, titanium oxide, silica and other minor constituents.

Precautions

• May irritate eyes or sensitive skin. 
• Keep out of reach of children.

First Aid

• If swallowed in significant amounts, induce vomiting, otherwise rinse mouth and drink milk.  Consult a doctor.
• If inhaled, move patient to fresh air. If respiratory irritation, dizziness, nausea or unconsciousness occurs, seek medical assistance immediately.
• Eye Contact - flush thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes.  Consult a doctor.
• Skin Contact - wash contact areas with soap and water and apply aqueous cream.
